Main reason I knew gossage was just last week I saw a question that asked to name every Mariner Hall of Famer. I missed gossage. That is when I saw how long his career extended. I was surprised.

It has to be Charlie Hough; I can't think of any strikes, etc., past 1994, his last year.

Nolan Ryan and Carleton Fisk missed the 1994 strike because they retired in 1993. Otherwise there would be four guy,s.

Yep, Hough and Goose. Can thank Craig Calcaterra for that one; read it in his column today.

Huggy’s question made me remember this one. When Marino broke the NFL touchdown record in 1984, who held the record for NFC quarterbacks? Hint: he had held the nfl record until Marino broke it.

36 in 14 games as I recall. That’s something else, especially in that day and age. When was it, 1962? Had to be around then

In 62, he had 33 and then got 36 the next. He retired after 64.

Who has the NCAA men’s hoops record for most assists in a season (the stat has only been around since the early ‘80s)?

Nope. But if you were searching for the Afikomen, I’d say that you were getting very warm.
