Three safeties have won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award. Name them.

I know that Bob Sanders and Ed Reed are 2 of them. Is Atwater the 3rd?

I know Kenny Easley is one, and I am pretty sure Ed Reed is the second. Maybe Troy Polamalu, but I am pretty sure it’s not him.

Collectively, you got all 3. Thought someone might have forgotten about Sanders. For some reason I thought Polamalu had won it, but nope.

    Atwater, BTW, belongs in Canton.

I was trying to remember sanders name because I remembered a colts safety winning, so I went with TP.

I'm pretty sure there are 4.

    Easley
    Reed
    Sanders
    Polamolu

Sanders gets lost, but the Colts were so much better when he was on the field.

They were a different team with him, but he only played two “full” seasons.

Since the start of the all star game era, which pitcher has the most 20 win seasons without an all star game selection/appearance?

    Joe Niekro?
