That I swim in the Christian stream daily?

But if you think I'm being, I dunno, insincere about it, here's an article for you:

    America's Changing Religious Landscape

    That's 2 years before Trump.

The recent United Methodist Church uproar is an example, as conservative churches in Africa shifted the tide on matters of gay leadership while many American churches considered and are still considering schism or non-conformance. Regardless of how one feels about that issue, it's evidence that American churches are simply moving leftward, and Trump's presence in the White House will only repel more people from the Christian faith.

Just to amplify: Chances are slim and none China works toward a trade deal before the 2020 election.

It's interesting that recognizing gay people as human beings capable of contributing to society is viewed as "moving leftward."

What once was also a leftward shift: allowing blacks into the building.

I can only imagine the uproar when United Methodists started allowing female preachers. FTR, a female pastor presided over my wedding, in a United Methodist church.

We've been moved so far right that anything that isn't considered conservative lunacy is considered radical and socialist.

When Des Moines, Sioux Falls, Omaha and the Quad Cities all rank above, at or near 50%, it's saying something.

According to that list, I qualify as "post-Christian."

I go to church most Sundays and donate when we do. We're also involved in church social gatherings and my wife sings in the choir.

A question: When was America a better place for all of its citizens than it is right now? When? The 60s? The 70s? The 50s? Tell me the time.

When factoring in non-straight people and non-whites? Yep.

When do you think it was best for them?
