I know. He's not losing any of his devotees over that comment. Hopefully, it's just a few more undecideds.

Hart said he made the unidentified White House staffer and himself drinks with vodka he kept in his office and they had sexual activity that began in administrative suite area and ended with oral sex on the rooftop of the building. The name of the White House staffer was redacted in the report released by the GSA.

I fervently hope we find out it was Stephen Miller.

Sounds like a great night. If it was Hope Hicks, I salute the man.

I'm very leery of Cotton. He is fully capable of being every bit as uncaring and destructive as Trump, but he understands how government works much better and he has actual political chops.

I think I have this right, but correct me if I'm off:

You need 60 votes in the senate to end debate and move on to a vote. In the past senators would do a true filibuster, which meant they had to literally stand up and keep talking for hours on end (this still happens from time to time) to kill the bill. But now there are rules where senators can simply threaten a filibuster (anonymously, too, I believe, or at least not publicly), which essentially means you need 60 votes to get anything to the floor for a vote or have the bill die.

Perhaps the filibuster rules should simply be to go back to the endless debate, rather than a back-room threat, so a senator trying to block a vote (where simple majority would pass) has some accountability in his or her actions. A little public pressure then might send more bills to the floor.

Hey! The market's only down 500 points!

Who could have predicted a guy that went bankrupt running a casino wouldn't know anything about business?
