    If he got burned that sucks, and I don't really have any problem with him outing the source if he was set up.

    But hanging a story on one unnamed source? This is what it gets you. He earned whatever's coming.

    He should be suspended for going with one source. But do we know the one source isn't legit? Perhaps this has been covered but this might still be a legit story and the source might be correct. Do we know otherwise?

    If the story was provably correct, O'Donnell personally and MSNBC institutionally wouldn't be backing off so quickly.

    They wouldn't back off fast only because the Right Wing Screech Machine screamed the story was fake. Of course they'd scream the story is fake.
