Would anyone notice if Lawrence is away? Half the time I tune in, Ali Velshi is sitting in his seat.

They’ve had two big missteps. This is the second. Generally they’ve put a lot into the Russia stuff, though, and it just didn’t pan out.

Not that I particularly trust the accuracy or intentions of this administration, but I think this may be a much narrower action than some people are assuming. If you're a U.S. citizen and father or give birth to a child born overseas, that child is automatically a U.S. citizen by birth, as long as a citizen parent (just one) has met some standard (it changes every decade or two & I don't know what it is now) of living in the U.S. for a certain number of years. I think this change would affect children of non-U.S. citizens, such as green card holders (legal permanent residents), who work for the government or serve in the military overseas and father or give birth to children born overseas if neither parent is a citizen - in this case, just the fact of being born, say, on a U.S. military base to a U.S. military member would not make you a citizen if neither parent is a citizen. It may also have to do with kids born overseas to non-U.S. citizen parents who are adopted by non-U.S. citizens employed overseas by the government or military.

Boris Johnson doesn’t know much. But I’m not sure Hugh Grant knows a damn thing about of any of this.

I know this is whataboutism, but why is it that when it's O'Donnell or Brian Williams or Dan Rather, whose track record I will put against anyone on Fox News, Gateway Pundit, Infowars, etc., do one thing like this and they have "credibility issues" that will follow them for the rest of their lives and yet Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Jeanine Pirro, Fox and Friends, Gateway Pundit, Alex Jones, Paul Joseph Watson and others never get the same treatment?

O'Donnell got something wrong. Once. The same goes for Rather and Williams. I'm not sure any of the people I've listed on the right, have ever gotten anything right.

And no, I do not give Alex Jones any credit for predicting the Trump victory in 2016. Correctly predicting anything doesn't mean shit.

I think most of the, prime timers (and the 60 minute correspondents) are 90 percent dependent on their producers. It's when they try and put on their journalist hat based on a tip from someone they know - that they get burned. It would be like you or me reading a day's edition of a newspaper and despite only reading the articles - having our credibility on the line for every word that someone else produced.
As for the Fox people - they've never had credibility. They mostly just amplify the latest conspiracy theories - rather than take ownership for themselves.
