It's a culture thing with Trump supporters. There is always someone else to blame. Admitting to themselves that Trump was wrong would mean they were wrong - just another of the many bad life-choices they've made along the way.

If Trump owned Amtrak, the entire Administration would be living in NYC and commuting to DC daily.

Somewhere in Kansas lurks a Laz-E-Boy that could spawn so many kids as to make Jeffrey Epstein spin in his grave.

This woman is a revelation, a national treasure. I hope she has really good security.

My problem isn't so much with golf as it is the way it's been used to further stratify society.
I happen to think it's a lousy sport but that's neither here nor there.
It is perfect for an object at rest such as Trump - he can pretend he's getting real exercise.

Reporter 1: Mr. President, what do you think of the prorogue going on in the UK right now?

Trump: I coulda had a couple of doze in Poland if I didn't come back to play golf, uh, monitor Darren.

My buddy was once paired in a pro-am with Gary Player. They played a round, and my buddy worked up the nerve to ask Player how to improve his game.

    "Take a lesson, then quit."

I don't have a problem with Presidents playing golf as I figure it is about the only time during their Presidency where they feel somewhat "normal" - which I imagine is better for mental health than for physical health.
The idea that a President needs to be chained to the Situation room or the Resolute desk is as dumb when Dems make the charge as when Reps make the charge.
And lets be honest - nobody really believes this President cares for his fellow Americans and would lay off golfing to show it right?

You can see the stratas at the muni where I play: white, black, Asian, Indian, men, women, oldsters, kids -- and inconsiderate assholes of all stripes. It's a freaking zoo and we love it.

"The Federal Election Commission just joined the list of disabled institutions, with one of its four existing commissioners—out of a body that’s supposed to have six—resigning at the end of August. That leaves it without a quorum and therefore unable to enforce election law. The vacancies are there because the Trump administration abandoned the traditional practice of filling the seats two at a time, by naming one Republican and one Democratic nominee. Instead it submitted a single name, a former Trump campaign lawyer. The libs have been owned."
