Burdon is still alive? Shit, I figured he went to the house of the rising sun decades ago.

Jim Morrison died in France and Ray Manzarek died in Germany.

I’m sure the other two burned their passports years ago.

Two pioneers still alive and well: Little Richard (86) and Jerry lee Lewis, probably too tough to die (83). The great James Burton, one of the great sidemen and guitarists in rock history, is 80.

Neil Sedaka is 80. And probably ready for another comeback.

Loretta Lynn is 87. Petula Clark, Yoko Ono and Willie Nelson are 86.

    Frankie Valli is 85.

    Silver-haired golden oldies.

Actually, he's not even the oldest member of the cast still alive -- Carl Reiner is 97.

Although Reiner was in many ways the guiding force of the show, he was a bit part player in the cast; DVD was obviously the "face" of the show.
