That’s cool. I really didn’t follow his personal life much, and was curious about the connection.

 

John Wayne - LA

There really are not many people who jump out at me. It’s more movie rolls.

Belushi is Chicago, though.

Orange County more specifically. Though when I think of Wayne I think of Monument Valley - did he make a single movie set in L.A.?

One of the things I respect about Mark Wahlberg is he seems to make at least one movie in Boston every few years. Patriot Day, The Fighter, he's got a new one coming out in a few months on Netflix.

 

Although maybe more as a writer, producer and executive, Tyler Perry and Atlanta.

 

Not so much actors and actresses, but some performers and iconic athletes:

Wrestler Jerry Lawler in Memphis.
Ric Flair in Charlotte.
LeBron James, no matter where he's playing, with Cleveland.
Huey Lewis with San Francisco.
Eddie Vedder in Seattle.
Prince with Minneapolis.
The Manning with New Orleans (as well as the entirety of Mississippi).
Jimmy Buffett and Key West.

Jon Hamm, St Louis
David Keith, Knoxville
Bob Hope, Burbank

 

The thread, though, is actors/actresses.

Huh? I don’t even associate Nicole Kidman with the US, much less Nashville.
