The Golden Season of the NFL and it starts out with a 10-3 stinker?
    Brutal to watch.
Rodgers will be in a bodycast before the end of the year and Trubisky was attempting to morph into Blake Bortles.

Watching that game was more difficult than coaching Antonio Brown.

  3. The Bears aren't going very far.
Great defense. Zero offense. Trubisky is a game manager. A middle-of-the-road NFL QB, who can not be counted on to win a game.
Have the Bears ever had a HOF receiver, or decent QB - not counting McMahon - since Luckman?

Collinsworth thinks Ditka should be on the Bears Mt. Rushmore? He was pretty adamant. They went with Hallas, Luckman, Butkus and Sweetness. Good picks IMO.
I would have left Ditka off as well.

I didn't watch the game. Did the Bears attempt a 43-yard field goal?

Who had that there would be more scoring in the Cubs/Brewers game than the Bears/Packers?

Brandon Marshall is probably not a HOFer, but he was a 6-time Pro Bowler, including 3 with the Bears and an All-Pro nod.

Nice to have an easy ticket to cash on opening night: under 46.5. Those teams could still be playing now and not have reached that number.

And a random referee fact: Tony Corrente-reffed games are 57 percent to the under since 2005.

I would put Sayers before Ditka. Ditka was a great tight end but Sayers was someone that had abilities that were truly unique.

Watch the clip and see how many defensive backs he turns around.

I'd like to propose an sj.com guideline:
No mentioning a gambling winner unless you posted it *before* the game.
