I doubt he's going anywhere unless the Raiders can void the guarantees. I'm not sure if they will be able to do that just yet, though if they wait a few minutes, Brown will probably do one more stupid thing to give them more grounds.

I'd think calling your boss a cracker qualifies as conduct detrimental to the team, which is grounds for losing his $30 million. How can a boss save face letting that shit go? The Raiders obviously are the source for this, so they're laying the groundwork. The public backlash about this is going to be significant. People will say, "Can you imagine Tony Siragusa calling Ozzie Newsome the n-word?"

They can't let this ride. If it were a teammate, maybe. But this is your freaking boss. They can't have it.

I think threatening to punch him was worse. Also, please don't act like cracker is the same as the n-word. Both may be racist terms, but they aren't equal.

That game was an utter snoozefest on Thursday.
If that was a representative NFL game, the NFL would be less popular than the WNBA.

The odds of Mayock returning to sports media just got a lot better.

Anyone think it wasn't absolutely clear to Mayock what his role was with the Raiders? I can't believe anyone is buying Gruden as the "good cop."
