Admittedly, the sample size is only about 20 minutes so far, but it's not great. Big Ben has had guys open and missed them, but by "open" I mean "on a full sprint the receiver has a stride of separation," and it's pretty hard to drop it in then.

    Relax, it’s one half

  3. And it's against NE. In Foxboro.

They offense doesn't look bad, they are just coming up short. Passing game is not there, but running game is OK.
Defense is ... well, its Brady. He's taking what he's given. He gets rid of the ball quickly and is seldom under pressure and hurried into poor decisions.
Face it, The game is over. They aren't scoring 21 points and holding NE scoreless in the second half.

    Surely, they can beat Seattle.

Cincy could have, maybe should have, beaten the Seahawks today.

Piled up a ton of yards with the Rams-style, pass-happy offense, but had a bunch of key mistakes — including a really dumb personal foul penalty on defense.

It's not just that they are losing. They look terrible doing it. Part of the problem is that they once again barely played their starters on offense in the preseason and it shows, but they do not have a receiver to complement Smith-Schuster. Moncrief is terrible and Washington is a No. 3 at best. Once again, Tomlin didn't have his team ready to play in the opener.

One more thing. The Steelers' safeties are awful. I said Edmunds was a terrible pick in the first round last year and he is showing it tonight.

Left clavicle, will be out about 10 weeks. Got injured after unleashing a 35-yard TD pass to DJ Chark, in a perfect spot in the corner of the end zone, with Chark covered -- a pass Blake Bortles or Blaine Gabbert would have been incapable of throwing. Chris Jones body slams Foles a touch too late, no flag. If it had been Brady the NFL would have had Jones shot behind the stadium.
PS: Gardner Minshew came off the bench and set the Jaguars record for completion percentage (22 of 25, .880) and completed his first 13 passes. But the Jaguars defense apparently had no one to cover Sammy Watkins or Travis Kelce, and no one to get to Mahomes.

Tomlin kicks a field goal from the 1 early in the second half while down 20-0, telling America to get a good night's sleep on Sunday night for a change.

Just when you think you can get through a Pats game without Nantz, he's voicing Toyota commercials.

The Steelers were thoroughly embarrassed in every way tonight.

Myles Jack got ejected in the first half, and I think they had a few injuries on top of it. I doubt they were winning that game anyway, but that stuff certainly didn't help.

Good news is this will get Yinzer Army to stop complaining about AB on social media. Bad news is it will move them back to bitching about the other black person they hate: Tomlin.
