    Of course you understand what it means.

    I just happened to suggest virtue-signaling for one of the board's pet issues was questionable.

    It should be noted I'm as against gun prevalence as anyone. I just don't give a shit what a jeans company thinks about it. Wouldn't care if it was a college football team, either. I like Nestle Toll House cookies something fierce. I don't give a shit if Nestle supports the troops or not. Or if Chik-fil-A closes on Sundays. If I want a chicken sandwich on Sunday, I'll go to Wendy's. It's not a chicken sabbath for me because Chik-fil-A takes the day off.

    Sounds like we've reached the point at which the use of "virtue signaling," like "PC," is telling on yourself.

    It's a conservative shorthand that says more about the user than the target.
