Young, non-white and fearless. It scares the Trumpist base of old white people.

    Small Potatoes-
One thing about college I learned very quickly - you tend to take it way more seriously when you're the one who's paying for the shit.
Bernie the Goof's plan doesn't work on any level.
Not everything in this world can be free.
This thinking is what gets people like Alma to vote for Trump.

The biggest problem with Tulsi isn’t the weird political posturing (although granted that’s bad). It’s still the faux-Krishna cult and the unanswered questions about the cult.

I guess I'm not sure why the idea of "free" tuition, especially at land-grant schools, meets so much resistance here.

Free college is a disaster. It’ll kill the value of the degree. Hell, it’ll greatly diminish the quality of the education.

I’m not voting Trump any day of any week.

I’d vote for Sanders or any of the rest of them. Although I’m kind of glad I won’t have to vote for Julian Castro, after his cheap digs at Biden.

I’m 98 percent certain that I’ll vote for the Democratic nominee in the general election.*

I’m 99.9 percent certain that my Electoral College vote will go to the Republican nominee.

*If the nominee is Sanders, I might waste a vote on an obscure third-party wacko.

Because it will be costly. It will cost the country a chance to remove a monster from office. The issue is that extreme left ideas will give the Trumpists the ammo they need to fire up the base.

Who has ever valued, to any great extent, something that is free?

Also: Once something is cost free you take it as is. In other words, you take what the people who made it free want you to learn. You work for it. It doesn’t work for you.

To be clear: I would advise most people not to go to college or to go to as little as possible as needed to get the job you want, presuming a job is what you’re going to college for.

    Yes.

Just look at the pestilential hell holes that offer free college - like Sweden and Denmark.
