They'll be going back to the post-lunch playbook, I see. I remember watching Blasey Ford's testimony and thinking this is over for Kavanaugh. Pack it up. And I think he and the Republicans knew it, too.

But sometime during the lunch break, they flipped the narrative and went with the LOUD NOISES!!! defense. Lots of yelling and anger and "fiercely" denying the accusations (How could someone so adamant be guilty?!?!?!?). Sure, he was an asshole to Sen. Klobuchar, but who's the real victim here? Him! Even "I like beer!" became a sound-bite used more than any of Blasey Ford's tearful recount, it seemed.

And this anger and victim-flipping and yelling seems to be the playbook going forward for all kinds of stories. Just bring out Lindsey Graham to throw a hissy fit and make everyone forget what the actual question was.
