    The whistleblower is apparently an intelligence officer connected to the CIA or the DIA. A fact that makes the person a spy, by conventional useage. Glossed over is that the deputy director or director of the DIA has testified that the whistleblower and the report are considered by the professionals at the DIA to be reputable and reliable.

    Kindergartener type obfuscation and bullshit. I never thought we'd actually see this level of stupidity in our national politics.

    In his opening statement, this was Schiff, making the point it was a mob style shakedown: “In essence, what the President Trump communicates is this: We’ve been very good to your country. Very good. No other country has done as much as we have. But you know what, I don’t see much reciprocity here. You know what I mean? I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you through. And I’m going to say this only seven times, so you better listen good. I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand? ... And don’t call me again. “I’ll call you when you’ve done what I asked.”

    Yeah, Adam Schiff is the issue :rolleyes:, not the corrupt bullshit artist who has crapped all over the country for 2 1/2 years in service to his ego, bank account and corrupt ambitions.

    I can't overstate how disingenuous I normally find Adam Schiff, and how much I despise most of the democrats as pretty much a rule. Only Donald Trump could manage to make it so I can find zero wrong with their conduct and I am rooting for them to do right by the country. Trump is so obviously unfit for office, and so caught this time, that a guy like Schiff doesn't need to make up anything or do anything nebulous to deceive people (things he will willingly do if times call for it). Anyone with two working neurons, the power of reason and who is not simply interested in blind faith tribal politics, has to see reality at this point.

    My nickname for trump is Projector in Chief. If he is saying something negative about someone he is either doing it now or has done it in the past. But the thing that is really amazing about him is that he is also a projector of the future. The best example (and honestly there are others that I can't remember at the moment) right now is Hillary's server. Now he has his own server issues. He just might be a genius after all.

    We need to remember that Nixon had a very high approval rating at the beginning of Watergate. Times are different sure, but I am counting on the hearings to really enlighten people.
    I don't even care if he is removed, although as a threat to America he should be. I would rather see him suffer in the office for the last few months and then get clobbered in the elections.

    What's funny is yesterday I watched about 2 minutes of Fox and this was the line they were going with by 3 p.m. EST. So, naturally, he's parroting their talking points. Not the other way around for a change.
