I can’t imagine what could come out that would sway the Senate to convict on impeachment.

 

They have pretty much accepted the Us abandonment of NATO and free trade, bolstering North Koreans and emboldening of Iran. They’ve accepted US detachment from the Middle East and giving Syria to the Russians.
What’s clear, absolutely and unequivocally is that the only 2 issues republicans care about is No Taxes and No Abortions.

I can, as I've noted earlier. The dam could indeed break pretty quickly, if the GOP Senators, particularly the purple state ones, believe they are toast if they stick with this guy. Senators are pretty damn good at putting self-preservation above everything else, and if they sense that Trumpstink is washing on them, they'll risk a few angry tweets and throw him over.

As for the GOP tossing Trump, I don’t see that either. They’ll keep doing what they’re doing. Not showing up for depositions. Saying the truth isn’t the truth. Projecting. Flat out lying.

And it will keep working. That 40 percent of cult voters is there forever. And that’s enough to hold the Senate.

The only answer is overwhelming voter turnout in November 2020 that cannot be questioned. Gotta bury them at the ballot box.

Democrats have go to fall in line behind whomever wins the nomination.

 

It is interesting to remember that Fox never really turned on W. When they can't get behind "their guy" they'll attack the Ds.
