I don't give a fuck about politics. You're trying to make a fight where there really is none.

Your talk about "defense" is comical coming from you. It's all you do, with nastiness thrown in for good measure.

And the left is almost as disgusting as the right these days.

 

LBJ signing Civil Rights Act was good.

LBJ sending thousands of Americans to die in Vietnam was bad.

And I won't begrudge any of the fathers and mothers and wives of the fallen soldiers if they happen to believe LBJ was a bad president.

And LBJ signing the Civil Rights Act still didn't stop an unarmed black man from being shot to death by police in my neighborhood while Barack Obama was in the Oval Office.

 

He is ignorant of certain things, especially the people he tries to paint with that broad brush of his.

I love how you try to throw ridiculous labels at the posts pointing out the flaws in what you wrote. There were thoughtful and fair criticisms of what you wrote, but you want to dismiss them because you somehow think your selfishness is defensible.

You didn't just say posting here is ineffective. That would be a fair, but irrelevant, point to make. You said you don't care. You explained your lack of caring by saying the current administration isn't affecting you. This claim that you don't care about the afflicted comes right from your words. At best, you chose your words poorly. Now that many posters have given you fair and thoughtful feedback, you have chosen to double-down and claim your words don't mean exactly what they do mean.

Everything is politics. Not caring about things that don't directly affect you is absolutely the selfishness and lack of concern others are talking about.

 

I know your dismissive foolishness is a sign that you have no real response to what I wrote. You screwed up, probably as badly as you did on the Penn State stuff. Perhaps at some point that will sink in.

One thing I noticed the last few days is there are a lot less Republicans repeating the “Go ahead and impeach, stupid snowflake Dems, you just gave Trump the 2020 election! MAGA!!!!!” talking point.

It’s like they’re getting nervous or something, which is why they’re going so crazy.
