    Oh look. Alma's going to cling to one phrase because he thinks he's got something and ignore the meat of the post.

    Seriously, do you not get the point of that phrase? Do you need smaller words and visual aids?

    I guarantee I had to jump through far more hoops to marry my wife than you did yours. And more than 30 years ago, it would have been pretty much impossible, too.

    And my point was simply this: EVERY president is going to do some things that benefit some people, and some things that harm some people. Just because you might have been one of those harmed --- THIS TIME --- does not make the person who benefited "evil" or "selfish" just because some policy benefited him, and he's happy about it.
