Whose fans wear more camo caps, Cardinals or Braves?

    Fake question.

    Both.

Strasburg’s post season is creating a new reputation for him.

Guess this is why they shut him down early as a rookie.

His last 6 years 83-39 with an ERA <3.30 in 164 starts. I’d say that the decision was right and in hindsight it worked.

As much as I’m a SF fan, I appreciate the greatness of Kershaw; damn is he snake-bitten in postseason. He reminds me of Maddux in that I loved Maddux but cannot remember any signature PS start. He actually got hit more than regular season IIRC

Had a complete game win in 1995 Series, only one the Braves won. Career postseason ERA was 3.27 compared to regular season career of 3.16. WHIP was 1.24 postseason, 1.14 regular. All told, yes, he wasn't as good in the postseason, but not by all that much.

I see that but he’s 11-14 and the ERA in the reg season DURING those PS was like 2. I love Maddux.

As a fair comparison let's look at Maddux's contemporary in greatness, Pedro Martinez. Career postseason 6-4, 3.46 ERA, a full half-run higher than his career 2.93. This includes some series for the Sox where he got lit up in his unhittable prime. Better opponents make for worse stats.

I suspect these ALDS will be quick. Astros in particular are insane.
