A couple of my neighbors told me they were going to see the Rays
I told them: “Better go Monday.”

Astros-Yankees or Astros-Twins will be must-watch. Like the baseball equivalent of Ali-Frazier. And that's only an undercard. George Foreman (if the Dodgers make it through) awaits.

Not looking like it's gonna be Astros-Twins right now.

I understand that for sure. PS is funny, ar one time (before 2002) Lemke was a bigger threat than Bonds.

I don't think we're arguing here, we're just approaching the same phenomena from different ends. PS: Looked up Koufax (he and Pedro two best pitchers I ever saw). Of course it's only World Series, but he only had a 4-3 postseason record. With an 0.95 ERA.

Just checked on ESPN and the Nats' starter for tonight is listed as "Undecided." I don't think that's a good sign.

Didn’t Scherzer only throw like 15 pitches the other day? I’d be surprised if he wasn’t out there for at least three.

I have my doubts that the 1889 strategy of only using two pitchers is well-suited to the 2019 postseason.

Baseball could very easily solve this -- and the fact that the postseason runs into November -- by eliminating the silly "travel days." Jet airplanes cross the country in five hours. Teams travel all the time during the regular season. Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig aren't riding the train to St. Louis anymore.

But if they can't even figure out what's wrong with the baseball, this is the least of their worries.

Sanchez starts for the Nats and Victor Robles is out. Michael A Taylor starts in CF

What? You mean the Los Angeles Bridegrooms cant’t just rely on Kershaw and Ryu?
