Are there "seasons" of Pro Wrestling? Does Wrestlemania mark the end of a season? With SmackDown on Fox, are storylines going to be more catered to the TV season?

Pretty much. For the past few years, the Monday Night Raw after Wrestlemania is kinda a season premiere, in which fresh storylines begin and some wrestlers from developmental get called up. Some storylines continue.

Usually the Royal Rumble is the beginning of Wrestlemania season. Then it’s post-Wrestlemania to Summerslam. Then it’s Summerslam to Survivor Series. Then post-Survivor Series is some throwaway shows because of the holidays, then Rumble hype.

Some storylines do continue through two “seasons.”

Wrestlemania has traditionally been the start/end of the wrestling year in WWE. They often continue those feuds through the next PPV and have a draft to reset the rosters shortly after Wrestlemania in April or May. Other than that, there are certain cycles geared toward the major PPVs. The Royal Rumble triggers storylines that go through Wrestlemania. Money in the Bank often starts a path toward Summerslam.
This upcoming draft, and the debut of Smackdown on Fox, seems like a logical place to reset a lot of things. It's not normally at this point in the year, though.

Becky's arm must be burning from landing the brunt of that "poisonous" green mist.

Nice. They show "highlights" of the cell match and don't open it up to the live crowd.

I've never been able to find it, but times like this make me wish I had queued up and ready to roll the clip of Triple H after he lost the WWE title to Chris Jericho on Raw, telling Jericho, "It never happened. Do you hear me!? IT NEVER HAPPENED!"
It would also come in handy for any number of other situations, such as when the NCAA penalizes a program by taking away wins and Final Four appearances.

This is the first time I've seen Asuka and Sane for awhile. Did Sane drop the pirate gimmick?

She still comes out to the ring with it, but that’s about all.

I thought about that. Also thought about mentioning a certain unmentionable former champion, but thought it might be seen in bad taste.

The pop after Jericho "won" the title that night is one of the all-time pops. And it's also like, example #788 of something the WWE just should have went with. I feel for like every "Daniel Bryan forces his way up the card," they have at least three or four things like this.

Apparently, the Fiend appeared after Raw last night and gave the claw to Cesaro, who had just taken a punch from Fury.

Also, something to take into account tomorrow is AEW could get affected by the MLB playoffs. TBS is supposed to air both NLDS games, but if Braves/Cardinals goes long, they've had Nationals/Dodgers start on TNT. Problem is, the latter game isn't supposed to start until 8:30, after AEW has already begun.
