This move in Syria will be the prologue of the movie made about the next terror attack on the US.

The Kurds will have to get in line behind Latino immigrants, environmentalists and feminists. Load up on guns, bring your friends.

And don't forget the buses arriving from Ukraine, South Korea and Japan.

Turks must have something bad on Trump to have him get our guys out of there in such a helter-skelter method.

Doesn't look like the source is necessarily from the intel community - could be someone at NSC on detail from DOD or State or some other agency. If the pushback is coming from individuals across the national security community, that may be a slightly bigger deal.

The American public, clear-minded as ever: In today's WaPo poll, 61 percent of respondents say that Democrats in Congress are taking a necessary step in standing up to Trump via impeachment inquiry. BUT, 50 percent of those same respondents say said stand is distracting Congress from important issues. That means roughly in five respondents are carrying contradictory thoughts on the topic.

The House is going to need to lock some folks up for disobeying subpoenas. Assuming they can, of course.

Legally, they can. Inherent contempt power has existed since law passed in 1857. Politically, expecting Democrats to be ruthless is futile. They just ain't made that way, at least the elected ones.
