One of my best friends is an ardent Catholic and a close to Trumper; simply because I disagree with some of his beliefs does not mean that I disavow him and say he's not my friend. If I was dying on the road, he'd be one of the first, if not the first, to respond and do whatever was needed. What we do is explore our views and exchange reasons without trying to convince the other that they are wrong. We simply respect each other's views and reinforce our friendship.
