I believe someone said teams are now 1-for-21 on challenging pass interference so far

 

Seems odd to - it was an inconsequential call either way - the game was over. Do they only want to do it when a game is on the line? They'd be better off overturning (or turning?) on calls like these to up the average.

 

Denver did it, too.

If your front four can quickly get to Brady, you can beat the Pats.

To counter that happening again, though, they started investing in the running game more. They’re just a fucking beast in the regular season.

It is crazy that they never dominate in the Super Bowl. They win most times, but they don’t just whip the shit out of a team and it’s over by halftime.

 

As written, the NFL has become too hard to officiate.

 

The odd part is the one that was reversed wasn't that clear of a call. It was the challenge the Seahawks won to get a huge interference call against the Steelers. The defender had his hands on the receiver, so it wasn't completely awful, but he didn't impede his progress or turn his body the way the Patriots' defender did on the one last night.

 

Very clear, in fact the NFL is explicitly telling us that they are not going to touch the call on the field unless the situation reaches the level of Nickell robey-coleman.
This was textbook pass interference and there was no chance that the league office was going to change the no-call on the field.

 

Perhaps, but that's not the way they played it in the Pittsburgh-Seattle game.
