Pardon me for interrupting Boogie's foolishness with actual football news, but the Steelers took another big hit with an injury last night. Defensive end Stephon Tuitt is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle that will require surgery.

The guy has ability, but he just can't stay healthy. The defense had made some progress, but they are very thin up front. Tyson Alualu isn't a terrible replacement, but they don't have much behind the three starters now. Wearing down late in games has already been a problem this season. It will be even moreso with a key player gone from the defensive line rotation.

Sources: Steelers DE Tuitt (pec) out for season

  2. That sucks. Tuitt waa having a great year.
He needs to Reggie White up!

We interrupt Steelers rehash for LIVE football
The Lions led the Packers 13-0 but predictably, let the Packers back in it
It’s 13-10 at halftime but smells like a Packers win
    Carry on with old news

He really started to put it together at the end of 2017, but he played hurt and struggled most of 2018.

Ref calls Lions for helmet to helmet
ESPN ref says it was no penalty because both were going for the ball
It’s the Lions so of course the penalty is called
    Game is tied
Of course, if it was the Packers defense it would be no penalty

That play is called that way every time. Defenders don't get away with helmet-to-helmet hits just because they were going for the ball. It shouldn't be called that way, but it is.

It's a Sheryl Crow situation. She gets better looking as she ages.

    Packers get away with interference
Trey Flowers got called for a phantom hands to the face
Trey is learning he won’t get the calls he did as a Patriot
    He’s a Lion now
