Hey, I'm on the Nats bandwagon. I come in peace.

This is as boring as the Caps’ Stanley Cup series.

Would love to see the Nats bring out some Expos HOFers for a first pitch in the WS, any surviving Washington Senators would also be nice.

When the Cardinals took two of three against the Nationals late in the season, I thought they had a pretty good chance at winning this series. But Nats pitching and the Cards inability to, you know, hit made this more one-sided than even the 4-0 wipeout indicates.

    Good luck, Nationals.

    Only one choice, really.

Kind of reminds me of the 2005 ALCS, when the White Sox pitching got hot and the bullpen threw a grand total of 2/3 of an inning -- in Game 1. The Nats' bullpen obviously did a little more work than that in this series, but it was still one of the more dominant team-wide pitching performances in a playoff series that I can remember in recent years.

With that staff? Very, very likely. Good luck.

I see Fernando Rodney out there celebrating - I hope the Nats don't have to count on him at any point in the Series. Maybe if they're down 8 runs and there are innings to be eaten, but that's about it. I get the shakes seeing him anywhere near a pitching mound.
