    Oh Andy.
Your stud QB is playing at MAYBE 80% with a banged up ankle.
4th and a long 1, and you run QB sneak.

The NFL is quite a bit worse without Mahomes; that game turned into a snoozer immediately once he went out.

Kind of like Stephen A., I view anything he writes / says as Sports Performance Art, meant to derive the most FEELINGS from any poor soul unfortunate enough to be exposed to it.

I don't normally wish harm on anyone, but if Shaughnessy's dead carcass floated down the Charles real soon, I would kinda clap.

"Time-tested Pats philosophy works again. Whenever they don't play, they gain. SunTzu (the art of war): "if you wait by the river long enough, the bodies of your enemies will float by.'' Mahomes gone. "

    That was correct.

It's not just Mahomes - three other potential division winners have also seen their QBs go down (Luck, Foles and Roethlisberger). A third of the way through the season and more than a third of the starting QBs have gone down.

I'd say they need to implement more rules to protect these fellas. But then how can you protect a QB on a sneak anymore than they do? (Mahomes). And how do you protect a QB from snapping some tendon in his arm just from the throwing the ball? (Big Ben).

    Shit happens. Next man up.

That's true, but I certainly wouldn't be shocked if the owners overreacted by changing some other rule to protect their quarterbacks.
