Want to be more mad? Go read Job for God's answer.

I did. It might be the most honest book of the Bible. But even Job was eventually rewarded with a long life and more children and wealth. Which character was god ?

God himself (herself? itself?) shows up at the end of the book and answers Job by essentially saying, "Who the hell are who? You don't know shit."

And yes, after that, God says because Job is holy, he can have his wife and stuff back. (Because even ancient myths needed Hollywood happy endings).

God more or less just gives it back. It is only tangentially related to Job.

Did the word “job” come from the Bible as slang for “this works sucks worse than what happened to that dude in the Bible.”

Christians don’t think there are “good people” per se, outside of Jesus.

Maybe real Christians, whatever they are. But I haven’t met a real Christian and I doubt they exist. Anyone who says or thinks “you’re going to hell because you don’t agree with my opinion” believes they and those that share their opinion are good and everyone else is bad.

My pastor is a real Christian. All about loving his fellow man and talking and discussing more than preaching.

And he backs his words up with actions by working with the poor in my area. Truly one of the nicest people I've ever met.

    Quit speaking for all Christians.

Yes, there are "good people" in this world. Even though they sin.

Alma must be a big Jonathan Edwards fan.

I’ll put it this way there are good people that are Christians. It’s correlation not causation.
