    DA's resources aren't unlimited and at some point it becomes piling on. 1) The new indictments are because the defendants didn't plead guilty; 2)they are conspiracy charges (getting the defendants twice for essentially the same acts); and 3) the indictments are for violating a law that probably was never considered to be used in this manner ("Tuesday’s added charge against 11 parents in the case involves conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery, which can be used in cases involving organizations that receive $10,000 or more from the federal government, including in research grants").
     
  10. Some rich, entitled white folks getting rough-housed by a federal DA, as opposed to some poor minority folks is a refreshing change of pace.

    Really have a hard time evoking a sympathy, or fucks, for them.
