I almost feel like he said he'd go to Game 5, hoping there's a sweep and he doesn't actually have to. Because you know he wasn't going to go at all and he's been told how bad it would look that D.C. has the World Series for the first time in 90 years and the President doesn't show up. So they pick Game 5 and then, awww too bad it's a sweep, saving everybody from dealing with it.
