There's a left/right difference as well as a male/female one, though, at least about affairs with staffers and campaign workers. Seems like more people on the left than the right believe it's always wrong for authority figures to have sex with people over whom they have authority(*). That would make it easier for a Republican woman to brazen it out than for Hill to do so. That's why I think that if Hill had only involved outsiders, she wouldn't have felt like she had to resign.

(*) Yes, I know, Clinton-Lewinsky, but it seems like there's an influential segment of Ds (now, anyways) who care enough about the issue to criticize those on their own side.

Who thought it would be a good idea for him to go to that game last night? Who was responsible for that decision?
Making an appearance in the whitest of white crowds (a World Series ballpark) in the most hidebound sport ... and he still got the hell booed out of him.
It felt good to watch but I've a confession, friends - I want to see him suffer more.

 

What kind of loser father doesn't take his young son to a baseball game? Seeing the kid next to him probably cuts down on the booing significantly too. Yeah, take Lindsay Graham and your booty ho wife instead. Great idea.

 

Not to defend Trump, but he was pretty much in a no-win situation. If he ignores the local baseball team playing a World Series game at home, he gets shit. If he goes, he gets shit.

 

Also not to defend Trump, and to borrow a point I saw on Twitter, but I’m not sure I can blame Trump for not taking his son to a situation where the crowd is likely to be hostile, like it was last night.
