Week 9 NFL Thread: Smoke 'em If ya got 'em Ray Mansfield edition

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Evil ... Thy name is Orville Redenbacher!!, Oct 29, 2019.

  1. Steelers have a big one with solid Indy team coming to town.
The one time a year 90 percent of America is rooting for the Ravens, who present New England with its first test of the season. OBTW: Harbaugh does pretty well (compared to the rest of the AFC) against the Pats.

    Jets-Dolphins should be vomit-fest.
Bears-Eagles and Vikings-Chiefs should be good TV.

Rest of the slate, not so much.

Went to the casino this morning because I wanted to bet the Thursday game and I'm going to be out of town until Friday. Also locked in three picks for Sunday that I liked (Colts as a Pick 'em, Jets -3 and Bills -9 1/2) that were all lower spreads than what was on the sheet. That's like getting all the peanut butter I can eat and the bicycle I never had.

Dalton benched. If they actually trade AJ, this might be a coherent strategy to usher in a new era as a team. But my best guess is they're just making up shit as they go along.

This. As a Bengals fan, I throw up my arms in disgust (granted, they've been up for the last 25 years). They're off this week so that's a few more days to prepare the stretcher for this backup playing behind one of the worst lines in the league. Wonder how close the coach is to losing the locker room with this move.

Dalton's birthday is today too. Cue the bad sportswriter ledes!
