    Yes he did.
What happens to a coach when he goes out and argues a video replay?
Doesn't matter if it's Game 6 of World Series or if it's July 9 between the Tigers and Orioles.
You go out and argue a video replay, you're getting dumped.
    Period.

    Still insignificant.
If you aren't within the 3 feet, and make contact, you're out.

The problem is that no rule, no matter how it's written or interpreted, can get around the fact that the runner has to be in fair territory to step on first base. I have had the thought, while watching my kids play youth baseball, that the safety base in foul territory attached to first base would solve this problem at all levels of the game, though I can't see it ever being adopted.

There is some truth to this.

If Strasburg does finish it out, it would be a hell of a moment for a guy who was famously shut down during a pennant race and has only thrown two complete games in his career. The last time he threw a pitch in the ninth inning was Aug. 30, 2017.

Doesn’t matter the level, there some fucking umps who think the game is about them. They are combative douchebags. They can walk away.

Jesus. Do you think Holbrook wanted to throw him? He gave Martinez 8 miles of rope, and Martinez wanted 10. At some point, enough becomes enough. Chip Hale would get 90 days in jail any other time for what he did to hold Martinez back.
