Those five comprised the rotation of the 2014 Tigers, who were swept by the Orioles in the ALDS. J.D. I would’ve selected Rendon, he woke them up last night and had a monster game in Gm 6.

That stat they posted about his recent postseason plate appearances in the seventh inning or later was crazy. He was something like 6-for-6 with a walk, three home runs, and a couple of doubles. Naturally, they put it up right before he made outs in his last two at-bats.

 

Someone will need to explain why he never got in.
