Trump better be buried in a private location because the line to piss on his grave will be caravan long if it's known and accessible.

As insidious as the auto industry bailout was in 2009, and it was terrible, Trump directly trying to bribe farmers with taxpayer money/US debt is even worse. It is different in one important way, though. The bulk of Trump's largesse is in the form of DIRECT subsidies or cash transfers to farmers. The auto bailouts, on the other hand, were in the form of the Federal government buying stock at all of our expense (and we took an overall loss on the "investment") and lending money to the auto companies, which were a hair away from failing. In that sense, you could actually argue that what we did in 2009 was "on the road to socialism," in the sense that socialism's defining characteristic is cooperative ownership of industry, and we were all put on the hook for a couple of auto companies, whether we individually liked it or not or wanted to be invested against our will in the auto industry. Trump shamelessly handing out cash to farmers has no relationship to socialism. It's more along the lines of a corrupt politician trying to bribe a constituency with a corporate welfare scheme, and not even having the grace to couch it as an "investment" or a "loan" or whatever BS has typically been employed in the past when politicians do a Santa Claus act.

Of course they bitched and screamed about SOCILISM the entire eight years under Bill Clinton, then clammed up as soon as Shrubby Bush took over.

    This new ISIS leader.

Seems like the terrorism version of the offensive coordinator the last ten years. No HC experience — not even running caliphates in Yemen or Sri Lanka.

Sounds like a player’s coach. If they pull off successful car bombings on Sunday that kill children, he gives them Tuesdays off with no beheadings.

    But can he recruit?

Moscow. Or Trump Doral, whichever one isn't under water by the time he's dead.

People will come, Ray. They'll come to Moron Lago for reasons they can't even fathom. They'll turn up the driveway not knowing for sure why they're doing it. They'll arrive at the door as innocent as children, longing for the past. "Of course, we won't mind if you take a piss on his grave," you'll say. "It's only $25 per person. Fifty bucks to drop a turd. Special group rates available."

They'll pass over the money without even thinking about it: for it is money they have and brains they lack. And they'll walk out to the gravesite; squat on the golden toilet on a perfect afternoon. They'll find they have reserved seats where they sat in front of the teevee and cheered their god emperor.

And they'll watch the tapes and it'll be as if they dipped themselves in magic waters pissed straight from Russian teenage hookers. The golden showers will be so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces. People will come, Ray. The one constant through all the years, has been corruption. America has rolled by like a pathetic teevee reality show. It has been erased like a videotape, recorded Over and erased again. But corruption has marked the time. This abomination at at Moron Lago; it's a part of our past. It reminds of us of all that once was rotten and probably will be again. Oh... people will come. People will most definitely come.

We watched this live in class. Before the vote started, I wrote 233-195 on the board. My kids think I'm a physic or something. I told it really wasn't that hard of call.
