He's coming here this weekend. After that, maybe he'll never come back.

I must say. I was surprised at the 2 Democrat nays.

I'm not. They're not really Democrats and they're in R+ districts.

Donald Trump was never taken seriously by New Yorkers. He was a joke, a grotesque cartoon. The only people who looked at trump and thought ‘he’s a New Yorker’ are tourists from Indiana or Alabama or some other poor state.

Love the Republicans pleas for bi-partisanship. Not much of a shock, the Ds cleaned out most of the swing districts in 2018 and the R districts left are pretty safe. Good path to a primary if any voted yes.

The Republican flailing and gnashing of teeth was impressive, even by their awful standards. The process is absolutely proper. The facts are against them. He will be impeached then acquitted in the Senate who have made up their minds before the trial.

Impeachment is the right thing to do, both morally and politically. He broke the law. Many other times, too, but they've got him on this one. Impeached will be in the first graph of obit. Good.

Get on with it and beat him next year.

Speier was an aide to Rep. Leo Ryan, who was gunned down in Jonestown a day or two before the mass suicide. Has repped his old district ever since.
