Reconstitute it under the guidance of the guys they hired?

Deadspin was different. A lot of people loved it. A lot of people hated it. The people in charge now are looking for something along the lines of, say The Big Lead. Vanilla crap. That stuff doesn't move an eyelid.

    Deadspin is dead and gone.

    Diana Moskovitz joins the exodus.
Never cared for the stuff she dabbled in or the way she cast a lot of her stories (most of it equated to "Men are piggish assholes and should rot in hell") but you could always tell she was a hell of a reporter who does her homework.

    Thank You

Online life is going to be absolutely miserable for anyone who tries to write there. Just fucking bury it at sea.

It’s an embarrassment what Twitter is in journalism.

These aren’t scabs. It’s not like, when the great Ricky Scaggs or whatever left, they couldn’t hire behind him.

Eh. They’ll live. The crowd of potential writers I’m talking about, I’m not far off.

Moreover, this guy probably got hired by the very editors who jumped ship.

The private equity guys maybe should have done a little more homework when they decided to invest in this.

The guy who wrote that KD-Draymond piece already has quit Deadspin.

The staff quit over a minuscule amount of its content.

    From the story:

In other words, the staff wasn’t exactly spending most of its time writing about straight politics. Only 3.5% of the stories Deadspin published in September were non-sports stories.

Why? Well because they want to be able to write about whatever they want - namely Trump - whenever the mood strikes.
