Streets Of San Francisco rules and I will not brook any other opinions on its awesomeness! :)

They keep making vague references to the fact that their after-life murders may come at a cost. I see hell in their futures. Hopefully, an entertaining descent into it.

The show gleefully makes no sense, but it’s fun as hell. Really enjoyed it.

I watched the first episode and was entertained. But I HATE cliffhangers. I have the rest of the episodes on my DVR, so I'll binge when the season's over.

The Golden Age of TV Is Over

You can make the argument that it's amazing that "PeakTV" lasted as long as it did - but I think the ever expanding offerings of shows will mostly make it harder for those shows that are quality to fully gain an audience. I've seen a couple ot cable channels throw out well-watched but aging line-ups of shows, but unable to develop a new program that people would tune in to. I don't know what USA is any more and I haven't watched a TNT show in a while. Streamers, like cable channels, need to give viewers a reason to watch and a show can't just be "good" it really has to pop in order to survive. Shoot "The Americans" only averaged a million viewers in its last several years.

  5. Season 2 of Jack Ryan on Prime.
    I really enjoyed Season 1.
Season 2, not so much. The lead in was good, but it went downhill by the end.
The suspension of disbelief for the final episode was just too much.

Just watched the first ep of Jack Ryan. Stopped to work on household chores. The difference? I *had* to binge-watch all of season one, chores be damned.

Jack Ryan second season was a flaming piece of shit.

Really? The first one was *allegedly* good.

Just an empty, muddled mess with a neat twist at the end, which is conveniently explained by Jack Ryan.

Good thing I never watched it. I love John Krasinski, but I can't seem him in something like this. He should stick to directing.

  11. So you didn't watch Season 1?
Krasinski was good in the role. He played it well.
Season 1 is worth a watch.
