    What about a quid pro quo that involves the president disregarding what is in the national interest and trading our foreign policy for his personal benefit, Bill?

    The level of sophistry being employed is mind boggling. All foreign policy ISN'T done corruptly. But let's parse what a quid pro quo is to try to create confusion, and then use those gymnastics to equate a president who tries to leverage foreign aid for reciprocal things that he believes will benefit the US. ... with a president who could give two fucks about the country, but is using his power to leverage foreign aid for his personal benefit.

    Cause it's all the same, right? Twit.

    In Trump's mind, since he didn't say "quid pro quo" then he's in the clear.

    It's like if somebody stabs another person to death, as long as they don't say "I'm murdering you" then they didn't commit murder.
