If only there were a place where a collection of white male conservatives could discuss politics unfettered from the typical liberal bullshit that goes on here ...

 

Or if he publicly and repeatedly demanded a whistleblower be unmasked after he or she exposed massive corruption in his administration.

 

It bugs me that some journos are throwing up their hands saying "it's all partisan" - if we're at a point where political parties just need to hold ranks to allow Presidents to get away with anything, what kind of country will we become?
At the same time political party membership is at an all time low - political parties have never been more powerful. How does that happen?

after thinking about it a bit - that is probably EXACTLY how it happens. You hollow out party membership leaving only the die-hards voting in the primaries - get more people calling out the parties for their nonsense in the primaries - this stuff would stop.

 

That's the biggest cop-out in the world.

 

The 2000/01 recount was the prelude to hyperpartisanship in my lifetime. It's all been shit since.

 

It is what it is. It's what got us the guy the first time.
