Then you have nothing to worry about. It's all a dream anyway.

Which means you have waking up next to Suzanne Pleshette to look forward to. So you've got that going for you. Which is nice.

da man, I find these forums easier to handle if you approach them that way. There is literally nothing at stake here.
I wonder if Suzanne Pleshette knew as a kid what an asset her voice would be.

A lot. None of which I feel like broadcasting on a public message board.

Not to speak for Regan, but getting older sort of helps put things in perspective for a lot of people. I used to get worked up about things here, because my life was drama free and I needed the juiceā€”I needed a cause, I guess; I needed to manufacture nemeses to find my fight. Then real life got pretty fucking real. People being mean on the Internet didn't really do it for me anymore. I had some actual problems to overcome.

God, a lot of us were basically kids when we started posting here. I was in my mid-20s, single, without kids. I'm 45. I'm divorced with two boys, one of whom is a teenager. Some people here, and elsewhere, haven't evolved, and some carry shit from decades ago. But I think they're the exception. Most of us change, and hopefully for the better. Most of us start forgetting what we were mad about in the first place.

For instance, starting this thread is totally evidence of a person moving past all the stuff.

Sure are a lot of "fuck yous!" on this board of evolved, mature people who have learned to take things in stride and realize what's really important.

I wonder if anyone here has two brothers named Darrell.

I think what Reagan is saying is that some people grow up and stop needing the validation of strangers on the Internet.

I think there's a lot less of it than there used to be. Don't you? This place used to be like the Star Wars cantina.

I guess. There used to be actual diversity of opinion, and therefore perhaps more friction.
