Kid's a homegrown player who is in their academy, plus he's a youth international. Seems pretty straightforward to me. He's young, yes, but if I remember how these deals usually work he'll still have to complete high school. It's not as though he's running away from home to join the circus -- especially as rookie MLS contracts don't pay anywhere near enough to live on your own in the Bay Area.

I'll take your word for it, Trooper. I know we all remember Freddy Adu.

 

It helps that he's a 15-year-old goalkeeper, so he won't be expected to play regularly for anyone other than age-group/reserve sides for quite some time. If the Quakes need this kid to be a first-team regular before he's old enough to rent a car, something has gone seriously wrong.

 

Definitely not the case from what I know of the Quakes.

 

I know that the shtick tires quickly, but I still enjoy it.

Would be nice if the media finally turned on Levy.

 

Would also be nice if Arsenal sacked Emery and hired Poch. However, I think United ends up hiring him.
