    Nobody is holding their nose and voting for Trump in a second term. At this point you're in or you're out. There's no choice to be made. It's all going to be about turnout.

    Virtually nobody who would vote for a Democrat is going to refuse to vote for Buttigieg because he's gay.

    How many Bernie Bros stayed home or voted for Stein or Johnson in '16? How many black voters stayed home in '16 because Obama was no longer on the ticket?
    I believe you are right when it comes to turnout.
    Your and my vote won't matter. The fact that we are even having this discussion proves we have a high level of political efficacy. We are going to vote no matter what.
    At this point, I just don't have enough faith in people to show up unless the candidate meets some sort of preconceived archetype for them.

    I know Edwards is a DINO who signed Trumpist anti-abortion legislation into law, but this is still quite enjoyable.
