Pretty sure we're watching Sondland go rogue. Republicans couldn't be expecting this, could they? Nunes' statement sounds as if he was expecting something other than this.

I'm not sure he's got any strategy other than to keep banging the same drumbeat. He's like a football coach who keeps running the football even though is opponent has eight men in the box and keeps throwing his team for 3-yard losses.

 

They'll just move on to say, "1. Sondland changed his story. What can you believe? And 2, Big deal. It's not impeachable and Trump shouldn't be removed.
"Now, can we get more Supreme Court justices? Because that's all we care about."

 

I don't doubt a single word Sondland has spoken.

 

Also, they'll use Rudy as cover.

 

His reading of this email is bananas. He knows he's taking down a whole bunch of people with him.
