Eh. Polls of 900 people don't do much.

The real poll is election day, and we'll see. I don't think it's going to go well - at all - for Trump but, if he loses as bad as I think he probably will, that will also cause a conundrum for folks who secretly hope he loses, but only by a little, because they kind of want everyone who voted for him the first time to be exactly as awful as they imagine those voters are. The need to be superior is a key piece in all this.

I suspect that's exactly zero percent of the populace.

So the real scourge of America comes from people who look with disfavor on a group of their fellow citizens who cheer on a president who spews racism, practices corruption and lies 13 times every day?

I hope one of the many lessons of the Trump Presidency is that there is a reason a back-bencher is a back-bencher. Nunes, Jordan and the rest of the Freedom Caucus and bluster all they want, but they clearly didn't bring the receipts and have made the party look bad. These clowns can go to town believing the most debunked conspiracy theories and will deny to their last breath that water is wet.

    Scourge? No.

I do think it’s miaguided for some who seem to take a lot of pleasure in the awfulness and intractability of their enemies.

Biden’s roasting for saying “Blafrican” is why some news anchors are absolutely terrified of encountering MLK’s name in a script.

Say it slowly. Deliberately. Nine syllables.

Or just take MLK Day off.
