The election is one year minus two weeks away. Seeing as the most influential event of the 2016 election, the Comey letter, happened less than two weeks before that election, "confidence" is a misplaced term. Anybody confident (or sure of doom) about 2020 is telling us about themselves, not about politics.

The Secret Service probably would have to get involved, basically quarantine his ass and his closest cronies (like Jared) to assure the handover of power. Then someone from HR will hand him a box so he can pack some valuables and some tschoskies and then they'll walk him out of the building.

name one other instance (corroborated by say at least 5 people on a phone call) in the say past 50 years where a president withheld foreign aid unless a foreign government did a personal favor for the president's own personal interests?
