This is what I keep asking myself, even before the hearings started. Why are they going balls to the wall for Trump, considering all he's done and undone. Justices? To pwn the libruls? To get back at Obama? Or the all-purpose answer, her emails?
We may be witnessing the death of a political party here.

 

They are doing this because a majority of Republican voters want an authoritarian white racist government and are also stupid enough to see Trump as an iron-fisted dictator instead of a con man in mental decline. If they don't also support that, they'll lose primaries.

 

Yes, I'm sure the taxpayers were all bent out shape, Ukraine not getting its aid right away.

I can't believe that sunuvabitch Trump canceled math homework!

 

And the abuse of power be damned, right?

 

When I played Trump Bedminster about 10 years ago, the member who I played with treated me to a hat and a golf shirt. $177 combined. Could not believe it. But this is next level grifting.

 

Polls show a large majority of respondents felt in the abstract that an action like Trump's was wrong. Smaller majorities felt the same when Trump name put into question. Different from impeachable of course, but they do care.

 

My wife was getting her car worked on this afternoon. The shop is run by a bunch of old boys who do nothing but have the tv glued to Fox all day, every day.
While they were working she could hear them talking:
"Ever one of them is liars."
"They hate America and want to make us Russians."
"They're just mad cause Trump built us a wall to keep them damn Mexkins out."

 

I hope Navy command names Gallagher as a one-person SEAL unit stationed aboard ...

 

Ignorant, racist and proud of both. Deport them except there's no country that would have them.
