Steelers barely escape the ignominy of giving the Bengals their first win. The Rudolph era is over, I hope. Ya can’t go back to him. Not sure he’s recovered from the concussion from the Earl Thomas hit; simply hasn’t been the same since. That’s a Super Bowl defense but their margin for error on offense is small. Juju had no catches. Gotta commit to the run and hope those three Pro Bowl lineman (when Pouncey returns) can revert to form.

Hodges is serviceable, not good. But they won with him twice, so you gotta roll with him. Kudos to Tomlin for making the switch, because the season was on the brink at halftime. They have good shot at making playoffs and won’t go deep, but the team has been through a shitload in the last year, and if they make the playoffs I think Tomlin, whom I’ve dragged a lot along with many others, will win Coach of the Year. Who else is in contention? I’d have said Gruden before they got ass-blasted by the Jets.

The Bengals are obviously not a good team, but are they the worst in the NFL or just incredibly snakebit? Six of their 11 losses by a total of 27 points. They're not an easy game week to week like the Redskins and Dolphins have often been, but they're not winning either.

The Raiders were due to have a stinker - wish it was next week against the Chiefs.

It would be tough for Ju Ju to have many catches when he didn’t play.

Shocking how good the Jets offense looked at times, even with their crappy OL.

Jason Garrett is sure a timid coach. Drive into the red zone and 1. Take Elliott off the field. 2. Throw to the backup running back exclusively. Nice sequence.

I got the Saints a couple days ago at -4.5 for the Thanksgiving game at ATL; that looks pretty good now. Might end up around 7 by kickoff.

Duck looks like he knows what he is doing.

    Mason did not.

And about the Redskins, if Duck Hodges was hugging his family and didn’t realize there was time on the clock and someone ran out to take the final snap, it wouldn’t be a big deal. Just think about that for a little bit.

Rudolph has looked progressively worse since returning from that concussion. He was terrible last week and today. Hodges isn't good, but he can make a few plays here and there. He made two today and the defense did the rest.

The Steelers' offense is a complete mess right now. Maybe getting Smith-Schuster back next week helps a little.

Can you thank Deion Sanders for the wussification of cornerbacks in the NFL? The tackling from the CB position is not only weak but there’s often little effort to wrap someone up and tackle them.
