Jones was elected during a perfect storm. Sessions will most likely win the GOP primary, and if he does the general is pretty much a formality. If Roy Moore wins, GOP voters will likely hold their noses and elect him anyway. Awfully early yet, though.

I'd put Jones chances at around 10 to 15%, max.

 

Best chance is Moore running a third-party campaign, or Sessions winning and getting cross-wise with Trumpers.

 

This "unfair relationship" includes Ukrainian husbands and Russian wives, Ukrainian brothers and Russian sisters, Ukrainian parents and Russian children. Tens of millions of families have members belonging to both countries.

God damn the United States for trying to tear them apart. All for the sake of having an "ally" (aka vassal) they can poke the bear with.

 

And when the Russians come in and remove all government officials and replace them with their own every goddamn single Ukrainian wife and husband and mother and father and son and daughter that don’t like it will be punished.

It's like Ragu and the economy. Keep predicting doom, year after year, and you can never be wrong, because it MIGHT happen . . . . someday.

 

Moore almost has to run. It's the only viable way he can scam up enough money to live on for a while. Sessions is running, but he's already hacking off some within the R's with his attitude that it's "his seat". I find it all but inevitable that Trump shits on his campaign at some point. That's why I feel that it's too early to make any sort of firm call on the race. Far too much time before the vote, too many ways things could go sideways for any of the candidates.

 

They’ve already done it. The better argument is that the US did it to Mexico

 

Good thing they included the "PUTIN" ID on his pants. Would have never guessed otherwise.
